Ever wondered how people draw such amazing creatures? Well, wonder no more! This is how I come up with any new design for a creature no one has ever seen before. The trick is to base your creature off of already existing animals, but don't make it look like a jigsaw puzzle, though. In other words, don't make it look like a griffin. You can tell where the eagle ends and the lion begins. If that is your goal, then go for it! Otherwise, make it look seamlessAny questions, ask away!
PS. I'd love to see any creatures anyone draws!

Just remember that (almost) everything-especially animal bodies-can be broken down into spheres and cylinders

That is a pretty great fish head That's my favorite prehistoric fish. Can't say/spell/remember the name to save my life, though... Googling it now... Dunkleosteus is it's name. It's a big one! [link] Haha, someone on the blog thought that fish was real.
