I have a question. After all the mountains are made, what do the layers look like? What I mean by this is ... what goes on each layer?
As soon as I figure that out, I can totally understand yer tutorial and it'll probably help me out.

I normally only paint on one layer (ie. the whole mountain range is on one layer). But you could paint each mountain on its own individual layer.
