Version 1.1 - Fixed a bug causing stats to not show.Version 1.2 - Added "Icon" layout
This is a mostly pointless and silly little skin I made for myself. It shows the number of comments, favs, views, and downloads for a specified deviantArt "Deviation".
Configuration:
Right Click -> Variations -> config.ini
This only works with the full URL

To make sure you have the correct URL, just click the Deviation title (the one next to your avatar and above your username)
Horizontal, vertical, and single icon configurations included. Font, font color, shadow color, and icon alpha are easily configurable.

I love this skin but I must be doing something wrong.I am no noob to Rainmeter but I just can't seem to make this work. I think I have entered the URL correctly as h ttp://chalky10.deviantart.com/art/Goldrush-443890110(without the space)
when I click on the skin icon it takes me to the correct page so that implies all is well, but when I hover over the skin icon I get nothing in any of the stats columns.Please can someone help before I go mad trying to get this to work

Not with the presets and not with my own settings. (used full URL)
Also I only have horizontal but not vertical?
Do I miss something? Or is the vertical just labled "da"? (I think so, but all icons are on the same spot)

I would say it's really usefull and not at all pointless! I had to install rainmeter again just to use it. Really neat to have a overview of what's up on da at your desktop when you wake up and turn on the monitor!

Is there a way to get data from the message center? As in, how many messages you have, replies, etc? I've been looking for something like that for years, and this is the closest thing I have seen for it, thus far.

I've been using this for the past week without any problems. I made it for myself. It's as simple as it gets: just shows the dA message envelope with your inbox count beside it. Just put your username and password in the UserVariables.inc and reload the skin...the first time it may take awhile to show the number, but just give it time.

It's possible, but not in Rainmeter AFAIK. You should make a web service (in PHP or another language) and make Rainmeter retrieve that page.

I can make it, it's not that hard. The only problem might be that everytime you use Rainmeter you can logout from DeviantART (because it's logging in somewhere else).

just go to the deviation's page you want to track. then click the title next to the author's avatar (this will ensure you get the right URL). Then copy the url from your browser.
