A few months back, I 3d printed my retrieval ship model at Shapeways. I was delighted with the results. I am having a hard time getting decent pictures of it, though, because of the fact that it white and small, which makes for a terrible subject for digital cameras. Anyway, hopefully you can get an idea of how it turned out, even though these pics don't do it justice.
