I don't even know if it will work anyways, I tried to upload my own avatar but then it just loaded for two hours then I just gave up and canceled it, and it was only a PNG file with 506 bytes!

Heheh. Dummy. It has to be a 'JPEG' or 'GIF' file. Just click *save as*, and make sure the type of file is jpeg or gif. Then re-save the icon. Oh yeah! It has to be 50x50 pixels to upload it for your icon. Hehe. Try it and you'll see! Maybe then, I can get to say 'I told you so'...lol.

i know [link] has a free online animation tool, but it sticks a little tag in the top left corner

oh yeah, I remember, now. GIMP does animation, as well as other things. It's like free, open source Photoshop.

There are free GIF programs out there,
you just have to Google it hard enough.
