If this Synchro Summoned card is destroyed: You can Special Summon 1 Rank 4 Cyberse Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck (this is treated as an Xyz Summon), and if you do, you can attach this card and 2 other "Mathmech" cards in your GY to it as materials. You can only use each effect of "Geomathmech Lunate Sigma" once per turn.

This card is named after the Lunate Sigma (Σ), the form of the Greek letter sigma used in Medieval Greek and occasionally in Greek Orthodox Church transcriptions.
It (the lunate sigma) is also a counterpart to the final sigma , as this card is a counterpart to "Geomathmech Final Sigma ".
