DARK/Spellcaster-Type Effect Monster/Level 2/400 ATK/500 DEFLore: This card's name becomes "Time Wizard" while on the field. Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can reveal in your Extra Deck, 1 Dragon or LIGHT Spellcaster Fusion Monster that mentions "Time Wizard" or "Dark Magician" as material, then toss a coin and call it. If you called it right, Special Summon the revealed monster (this is treated as a Fusion Summon), then 1 monster on the field loses 1500 ATK. If you called it wrong, you lose 1500 LP.

Potential mythology gag aside with the manga and all that, it's pendelum effect is basically a straight upgrade due to the fact that you only take half the damage as would time wizard, and the effect synchros get while used with this thing combos well with cards like red dragon achfiend and all it's variants or anything that is at least partially beatdown-focused. I would like to call it "Time Magician" instead, and for it to not rely on it's effect to be a tuner, as honestly synchros are the most under-supported extra deck monster at the moment, but it might break the balance a bit too much with blackwings and red archfiends.

Yeah, I'm thinking of changing the name to that or something different anyway, I only made it a "Magician's" monster to tie it into the other Magician's support for the Dark Magician lineup-but considering this is already in sync with something completely different...yeah.
But the tuner thing stays. Thing's gimmick's even as a Pendulum, is based around the utilization of luck.
