I have a soft spot for retro futurism, and I've been casting about for a theme for a talk on line art coloring techniques I'm doing locally. After binge-watching GLOW the last couple of days I also got this stereotypical Russian accent bouncing around in my head. Out of that brain stew comes this character: Marina Tereshkova (after Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman in space), Soviet hero of the 22nd Century. I'm really looking forward a bunch of Soviet propaganda design to go with her in the presentation. Should be a lot of fun.
