Description
More colors over my own digital inks. Just having some fun experimenting with the 24 bit .png files and masked adjustment layers to carry off the depth in the group shot.I've been experimenting with more general light sources. Looking for something a bit more happy and colorful and steering away from moody lighting and over-abundance of texture.

Thanks. It was mainly just getting everything flatted and separated that took the time.

Could you elaborate on your process regarding the masked adjustment layers? I have a feeling I know what you mean, but I would be curious if you would share more details.

With this particular pic it was a Hue/Sat layer that I painted into, starting with black on Lightning last and going to almost white in the background. I was thinking I might do a tutorial. A lot of the people that I work with (many graphic designers) don't seem familiar with the technique and it's really useful.

That is cool. I have done something very similar to that before as well so it caught my eye when you mentioned it. I think it is a great technique and I have been using several different kinds of masked adjustment layers.
