Description
There's nothing like a good pair of chaps.Another piece inked at the suggestion of the ever-helpful . A ton of detail and subtle line weight variation. It's a fun first crack at 's pencils for me.
Not a lot to say 'cause it's late and I'm recovering 3 helpings of turkey and 4 hours of driving. Hope everyone had a good holiday.

Yeah, this one was pretty intense. Had to make a lot of choices.

Good call. I've been trying to put my finger on what character she reminded me of.

Thanks a lot. Yeah, must be something wrong with me because I looked right at this one in the beginning and clearly remember thinking that it would be a pretty simple job.

Of all the great things going on in tis peice, the lattice work on the hat grabs me the most. It just give that certain something that makes it believabe. I am however getting a little lost in some of the hatch work on the saddle. Maybe athin to thick feathering action may have helped this. Overall though, this is a pretty impressive page. Outstanding!

Thanks. Totally see what you mean about the saddle. Could have used some more definition.

Photoshop and a Wacom. I never did too much with real tools, though someday I hope to take a crack at it.

I just can't get the hang of not having to look at my hands when using a tablet and looking at the screen, so I keep reverting back to traditional, but hopefully someday I'll get the hang of it. Until then, loads of improvment to be done on what I'm doing now. Keep up the great work.
