A bit of an experiment for me here. Taking a stab at digital pencils to try updating a pair of my OCs Og and Mnemoth from my project called Space Hogs.Again just trying out some things, not the least of which is trying to flex my sketching skills before they atrophy. Also messing with some back and forth between Illustrator and Photoshop and playing with and customizing various sorts of graphite brushes.

Looking sweet here Doug! How did you recreate the pencil so well in Photoshop? Every time I've tried it always seems to end up looking a little too much like a hard round brush!

I used this set with a few modifications of my own. But I think the base pencil feel is really coming from the original brush set.

Hey thanks for the encouragement. It's got a ways to go, but I'm hoping eventually to be fluid in all three. All I'd have to do is sit down at my desk at the end of the day and go any direction I wanted to.
