p.s. The way she is holding the sword if really awkward, however. She should be palm up, thumb on the viewer's side, fingers on the far side of the hilt away from the viewers. That would be much more natural and stronger. I suggest taking a broom handle, large knife, or any swords you may in fact have and try the pose you are drawing/painting. If it feels unnatural, adjust it until it feels good. It will make the pose more organic and subconsciously people will like it even more.
Sorry for the long critique, I'm a sword fighter. ;D
