I was going to give it a background, but that failed, so I just decided to do it blank.
Done in markers & colored pencils, edited/re-touched in Photoshop.

his is what it should be like. Fish that are the same size a babies are like five lb's heavier, Ariel should technically weight more than what's-his-name. A lot more.

AS soon as I saw him struggling to hold the merman I said "FINALLY someone made a joke about a human holding a merfolk in the arms!" Too often they draw it as tehre is no problem holding a half-fish, obvoiusly they never held a large fish! That fish tail is all musscle and merfold tails are long....bound to heavy!
I have to thank you for making his tail look like a fish tail instead of the 'Disney's mermaid' look= which is looking like human legs in a rubber suit, same lenght as human legs, bends like human, even looks like a calf musscle under the bent knee. -_- The 'Disney butchers mermaid look' does not have the graceful bend that natural fish have as they move.

ive always loved that mermaids...or men have been portrayed as less fishlike in cartoons and drawings but the lower half is a gigantic fish...that cant be that tiny! lol nice work.
