Tetra's fears of losing Link finally break her apart. Not only does his courageous attempts cause her to feel this way, but the 'sacred rule' from the lips of many people are aiming to separate them both. It may have been easier to do back then, when they were still kids, but now that they have been though so much together, it just seems... impossible.
I drew this because I'm feeling a bit depressed lately. I also drew this, because poor Tetra really takes a beating from the Zelda fanbase...

Then again, I tend to distance myself from "fanbases" as much as I can.
If it's true that's really a shame. Tetra's pretty much the best incarnation of Zelda there is. I'm still not over how badly Nintendo treated her in Phantom Hourglass. I don't understand what the point in making her the damsel in distress was. Having some co-op dungeons with her as Link's partner would have been cool. I mean, for Pete's sake, she's a goddamn pirate captain! Let her take part in the adventure!

Tetra does take quite a beating from the fanbase. Which I find incredibly sad since she's such a well developed character.
Seeing her emotional is a real change of pace and quite welcome. Even the best of us have our moments of weakness. I love how her tears came out and the interaction between her and Link. Seems like Tetra's trying to remain strong but just can't, which is fitting of her character.
And I hope things look up for you. ;3; Being depressed is not fun!
