Description
Little John is a lame, almost toothless Balverine, owned by a retired trapper who calls himself Marx.Despite his obvious handicaps, he can still leave a nasty scratch or two on people when they're not careful, or just whenever he feels like it.
Marx's interest in keeping exotic and unusual pets has lead him to proudly keep this balverine on his property. Oddly enough, Marx likes to roughhouse with Little John often, which is why Marx is covered in scars and scratches. He insists that it doesn't hurt.
Marx likes to tell visitors that when Little John bites you, "It feels like being pinched by an ogre!"

I love balverines! Mostly because they are wolf people, and wolves are my favorite creatures.. But I was shocked to see what balverines were like in the THIRD (yes, I'm talking about Fable 2 -.-) game.. They no longer have a wolf anatomy, and they have high-pitched sounds that don't sound like wolves. Instead of jumping up for a few minutes, then coming down, the just jump up and jump down, then slice your back. I was like... "What happened to my bloody werewolves???" when I saw them. -.-
And yes, Fable 2 is actually the third game.. It was Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters, and THEN Fable 2.
But anyway, I love this Balverine! I'm going to steal him and keep him as my own pet one day! *Fave*

They never saw Little John again.

If you get fable 2 Game of the year edition, there's a quest on there where you have to go through portals and stuff, and you get a balverine costume, hobbe costume and a hollow man costume.

Well, It was a quest to help make these cursed items not cursed anymore, and you get a cursed skull on one, that's where you get the costumes.
