Description
This little comic stems from a multitude of previously explored concepts; mainly the "Loid is Dr. Andonuts" theory...
Loid & Pippi get into some time-travel shenanigans, but they both realize soon after that there is a good chance that they will never make it back to their own times again. When they are finally grown up enough to make more important decisions, they finally come to terms with reality, but it isn’t all bad…

Really? Lloyd and Pippi? I mean, this is well drawn, but I don't really recall Lloyd and Pippi have much, if any interaction in game.

but.. since ana and ninten were both 12 in mother 1 which the year was 198X, and ness was 13 in mother 2 when the year was 199X... thats literally a year apart so how could ana and ninten have ness....?

Am I the only one to have noticed that this makes Loid the only character in every game? Unless tha Dr.A in M3 is Jeff, but that's a whole nother theory.

Time-traveling shenanigans, huh? That's awesome. I know it wouldn't really work for them to be Jeff's parents, but I DO like the Loid/Pippi pairing. They're so different from each other that it just seems to work, and it's cute! Nice job on the pic.

Thank you! I like Loid/Pippi, so it worked for me. I felt it would be interesting, since I didn't have Ninten & Ana end up together in this timeline/story/whatever...

As much as I like the pairings that tend to make people cringe (ie. Porky/Claus), I also am a sucker for the pretty-much-canon pairings in this series, like Ness/Paula and Kuma/Duster. I never even considered Loid/Pippi until maybe a year or so ago and that one just stuck. It's too cute.

Yeah, but I did read something interesting a while back. Someone on Starmen.net explained this 'theory' a lot better than I ever could...
I also found the idea of Loid messing around with time rather interesting. Pippi, on the other hand, was bored and dared Loid to demonstrate how well his recently finished time-machine worked at the time...

Oh yeah, that's very logic! That would tell us why Dr. Andonuts is into time travelling in MOTHER 2.

Hahaha! Yeah, there are a lot of holes in the theory itself...
I think that Loid might have crashed/destroyed a few time-machines in the process, and each one took a few years to rebuild/remake (given that he had to find the resources), so they both inevitably aged during those years...
Pippi kind of elbowed her way into it the first time, and as they ended up in different time periods, she would keep in touch with Loid, & he was a bit annoyed that he had to go & find her each time he finished a new machine.
Loid tried many times to take her back home, but every machine so far was faulty in calculating the proper times.
I also find their differences in personality very cute together: Loid is very smart & a bit of a push-over, & Pippi is very wild & reckless (something Jeff might've gotten from her?)

It also would explain why Jeff's mom is nowhere to be found somehow...

I think the phase distorter might be the most successful in going back AND forward in time. Maybe the one's Dr. A made before could only go to the past or the future before breaking down...

I just had the idea of them being Jeff's parents, they aren't really since they're both kids in Mother...;^^
