...And now, here's Tetra's parents.They don't seem like much of a Happy Couple do they?
It's Tetra's parents, as opposed to Link's Shiny happy family > [link]
Except little Tetra isn't here, because I doubt that she ever met her father, and it would seem more likely that her mother isn't proud of her relationship with him anymore, thus, becoming less willing to introduce their daughter to him...
And yes, I designed her father, which was a bit tough to do, considering her mother is a descendant of Zelda, not him... I also tried to give him a bit of a hunched back and a more weathered look, but still looking a bit young...
Tetra's mother was the easiest part, since she was already designed in Wind Waker.

The king of Hyrule isn't. Tetra is one of his descendants, especially considering the guy is well over a hundred years old and Tetra is like... 13? Her mother is also likely to be a descendant of princess zelda. But it could go either way since the only known exact descendant is Tetra, and the only one likely to have had a connection to the Hyrulian Royal family is her mom, since she had a piece of the triforce in her possession. But the king is definitely not Tetra's birth father.

As Incredibly awesome as this picture is I have one question to ask. Or uh.... two. One What name did you come up with for Tetra's father? Aaaaand I was coming up for a Fan based Zelda series that takes place between Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks (of course its still in Tetra's life time before her and Link ended up in the land that would be the "new" Hyrule) and was thinking of adding a father character for Tetra. Problem is I didn't know what to do for a design :/ So Would it be alright if I used your design? Of course you would get full credit for his character. Sorry to say that he turns out to be a villain. Poor Tetra

I'm seriously loving the father design. Your Zelda artwork is awesome to me because it's so heartwarming, yet this is equally awesome for almost the opposite reason, and it works really well. Bravo.

The king of Hyrule is Zelda's father. Tetra is a chosen one in Zelda's bloodline, and in order to tell her that, the king was trapped in time underwater for all those years. Remember when you go to Hyrule the first time? Everything was frozen?

yeah but if you'd play wind waker you'd know that Zelda's daddy had to disguise himself as a boat to help Link and Tetra without revealing himself but the King of Red Lions IS the King of Hyrule and whom is Zelda/Tetra's daddy as proved ingame i know you've probably played the game but still XD

True he IS Zelda's father, but the reason why Tetra 'turned into' Zelda in Hyrule, was because she is a a chosen one in Zelda's bloodline. The King himself was frozen in time (as was the rest of Hyrule) and years went by above the Great Sea...

Wasn't Tetra's mother also the leader of the pirates before she even had Tetra? In my opinion, she should have some pirate-ish characteristics. Or maybe that's what she looks like when she was still a pirate XD
