Since everybody's been obsessing over Legend of Korra, and I had no idea of what it was, I looked it up, watched three episodes and I quite liked it. But I was also very confused, since I haven't watch The last airbender. I don't know the back story. So I looked that up, and I really liked the 13 episodes I've watched so far. Aang is the cutest thing ever. How could I have missed this?Oh well, I'll catch up.

OMG!!!, You really need to watch Avatar: The Last Airbender it was such a great show. I wish it never ended. Anyway this is a nice picture and I haven't watched Legend of Korra yet, i think i will today.

Prince Zuko and Sokka are my favorite characters. Did you know the movie w/ real actors came out like in 2010.. wasn't nearly as good as the cartoon but they're coming out with a part 2 in like 2013 I believe... maybe even this year.

Yeah, I've heard of it. I'm not sure if I want to see it though. When something animated is made into live action, I usually find it to be traumatising.

IKR, hes so silly. Lol,even if you don't watch the movie you wouldn't be missing out on anything,the movie is just pt 1 of the story. The cartoon is more interesting.

Oh, and I've only ever watched 3 episodes of Avatar and I'm watching Korra! (Though that might have something to do with the fact my best friend is obsessed with ATLA and has put me in the ATLA corner or shame for confusing Zuko with Mako and for liking Asami...)

well, since some people are advanced in their element, advanced firebenders can create lightning with the friction of their fire, just like metalbenders came from earthbenders bending the little particles of earth in iron. if you watch the last airbender you'll see a lot more on these subjects in book 3 and 4

Really? Isn't that going a bit too far? I thought the whole point of the bending-stuff was to be like a tribute to the elements. But if they are gonna keep doing like that, waterbenders should be able to 'bend' pretty much anything, since almost everything contains an amount of water. They could shoot cucumbers.

there will be an episode where katara learns to bend the water in grass, trees, and even bloodbending. she is too afraid to use bloodbending though but continues to use the water in her surroundings.
