Description
Here is another "incomplete" but "finished" piece. I will eventually get to digitally painting this at some point. I would have painted it with watercolour but I didn't want to risk ruining the original. Perhaps if I can find a way to get ultra high resolution photocopying onto watercolour paper I'll attempt it, but until then, enjoy this for what it is, complete abstract surrealistic where I had no set goal other to than to create something a bit weird and strange(bit of gigerism and tattoo idea in there)

This piece is great. Nice flow and easy on the eyes. Good contrast and I love the non-traditional skull "tattoo" feel of it. However, I feel that the 8 ball pulls in the cheese factor a bit. Everything about this piece screams unique...except for that 8 ball. My opinion is to leave it empty if nothing else fits. The flowers are a nice touch as it appeals to someone like me; I love the dark, masculine appearance, but the flowers help balance it with a minor feminine touch. The hard, dark vines really help add some depth to the piece overall.
I would definitely consider this a viable tattoo option.

Thank you for your critique I can sort of see what you mean by the 8 ball with it being the cliche tattoo element in an otherwise unique attempt at something tattoo like, though when I initially drew it, I still had a bit of cheese in my style. I possibly would have tried something a little more subtle, or indeed blank.
I liked your take on the flower. I wouldn't have picked up that spin on it, but it makes perfect sense when I like at it from your viewpoint.
Thank you very much for your words I really appreciate it

I'd suggest against sending watercolour paper through a photocopier. I've tried it and you my get it to work around 20% of the time with 180gsm and the toner does not take as well to it either. Cartridge is a better option, but to use watercolour it has to be stretched

Oh yeah.. I didn't consider the stretching rout of cartridge. I might give that a go at some point. Thanks for the advice
