My favorite dinosaur of all, the T-rex! Done in dot rendering with fine liner. I completed this in around 4 hours I think using an image from Jurassic Park 3 as reference. It was a challenge to get the shape and form without drawing any lines. I may have cheated a bit to cut down time but I'm not sure.It was drawing in dot rendering to give an impression of an impressionistic style, but my realistic rendering style sort of snuck through in there.
Without a doubt THE coolest dinosaur, and coolest animal to have ever lived

That's pretty good!
Just a suggestion if you're thinking about biological illustration, try using a smaller gauge of techical pen, in the .005 and .01 range and make a generally large image, reducing the size when you publish it, it'll whipe away most of the imperfections that come from hand stippling and leave you with a nice, uniform shading but with more of a human touch than a computer.
