This is my most recent drawing.... Boy do I suck now. Haven't practiced in a long time. This is the Mord-Sith Mistress Cara from the fantastic novels of Terry Goodkind, the Sword of Truth series.This took me approximately 17 hours from start to finish! Nice to know I'm really slow.I'm not entirely happy with the right hip and the shoulders, or the chest piece on her leather suit, so you will probably see a rework eventually. I do love the left arm, though -- that is the best. arm. ever. Also the shading style is a bit different than what I usually do.

One of the better pieces of Cara fan art I've seen - you've captured her beauty, but also her lethal intent. Too many pictures of cutesy Mord-Sith in these internets, I say!

Thanks so much! There really isn't that much fanart out there for Terry Goodkind. Once I did this, though, I realized there's a ton of Cara fanart in proportion to the rest of the characters. I'll probably refine the outfit later, but in the meantime I think I will work on a few other characters that don't get as much love.

Thats a great idea! Characters I havent seen much art for include: Zedd, Chase, Rachel, Drefan, Nadia, Oba, Adie, Verna and Victor from Faith of the fallen.. Thats just a short list, so many characters have been neglected!

I'd really like to do Zedd, Chase and Adie, especially. For whatever reason, I don't feel like I'm good at "evil" characters, so I wouldn't be particularly good at say, Darken Rahl or something.
I did have a great idea to do Magda Searus at one point or another. She'll be on my list.
