Humans see using three primary colors. Biologists say that birds see using five primary colors. A bird that looks drab and colorless to us may be reflecting ultraviolet light invisible to humans but beautiful and dazzling to other birds. I wonder what this bird would look like to others...

my FAVORITE part of this is the placing of the text on the blade of grass (?) it is amazingly stunning and i love it! the colors add a lot of warmth too..great job

Not at all! Actually, this is just the plain old lense that came with the camera! I've been thinking about investing in a real, professional-grade macro lense, but the money issue always keeps me from following through on that.
