You know? At first I was like "oh nooo I don't want to do MORE water and ruins" but then I was like "Oh hey I just did a basic map for Glockenspiel recently and that world has lots of islands" and then I had a delicious sandwich.Anyway, more of the Shag/ Concept on Mac/ Samurai Jack stuff. I got some short prompts from folks on the Milk forum to act as kindling inspiration and this one was "sunken ruins".
Only it's not so much ruins.

Very sunken, not to ruinous though. Seems like the under water people are probably taking care of it. The question is, are those living inside sea critters, or are those rooms airtight and full of land people?

Now I'm thinking it's some sort of hideaway for criminals or refugees, kept airtight by magic, and the tiny bit on the top is the front for those that need to get in.

Real interesting bean i always love your wide variety of styles and quirks. Theri can be many things that come to mind when seeing this ~mermaids?,alantis?, someone forgetting to buy flooding insurance?
still i cant help but think of umm the underwater impadel (prison)in the One Piece manga xD.
my only sujestion would be make it look like theirs land surounding the house (aka the house on a small island) this way it makes it look liek a normal house unless you would have looked at it from this perspective
