I like the...steampunk...kinda feeling i get from the robot and I really like the glowing sword and magic
what's interesting is, that the red glow sort of makes the knight look like the evil one on second glance
at first it's all like: "the robot is holding the princess prisoner and that knight is gonna save her"
but when you think about it, it might as well be ht other way 'round.
for example: the princess could have run away from home with that robot, the knight as sent to bring her back just wants to protect her from that
sorry those are just thoughts
so long story short: this is a really nice work and a well deserved DD

it's awesome that you can bring your own story to it. it really was meant to be interpreted in any way possible. i just designed it with "pretty colors" in mind, and that knight totally does look menacing in that lighting. great observation!

At the first glance, it seems like a classy 'monster captured the princess, hero to the rescue!' kind of thing, but the longer I look at it⦠the more does the 'monster' seem like the actual good guy. It's all soft lines and looks golden and homey, hell, it even has a crown! And the 'hero' is all sharp edges and red, surrounded by death.
Hmmmm.

It reminds me of the "Hostage Knight" from Dragon Pink.
The life points of the monster are based on the health of the hostage; which sadly meant that in order to defeat the knight... You had to kill the hostage.
