I imagined a sort of Tarzier but very big.Also, it was interesting trying to paint without the line art to lean on. I think this is something I need to try more often, because as much as lines are great, they can be a crutch when it comes to digital painting.

Thanks for the idea--I had been building up from sketches and working up from color instead of linework might work better for me, too.

Scary! The mouth reminds me of that pit in Return of the Jedi. It looks like a monkey with a deteriorated face!

Hey, nice character/monster design, it looks great on the white background and the colouring/rendering is nicely detailed. I like the style you have in your concepts, animated but strangely familiar or realistic. Keep up the good work!

I like this but it could use some refining particulary in the area of contrast as it is looking a little flat. Deepen those shadows more (not with pure black though) and throw in some highlights on the fur and eyes and this piece will start to really sing.
