So I've been working on and off this for about 3 weeks I'd say? Like I said in my last drawing, I would be trying out brushes in Photoshop, and that is exactly what I did with this drawing/digital painting. This is my first time doing digital painting in Photoshop and I'd say it was a decent attempt at it. Probably something I won't try again, or at least not for a while. It was fun but I prefer my normal method and using Paint Tool SAI as my main program. I can't say this was done in only Photoshop. I might have used Paint Tool SAI for colouring the eyes... ehehe.

Oh yeah the majority of this was done on only one layer. There was a sketch layer, and one or two layers on top for deeper shadows, but more or less done on one layer. Also for some reason in my sketch, the eye looked completely fine, but when I was colouring the eye suddenly looked way to small. She was originally winking for you information haha. Since it was done on one layer, I had to resize that area several times and then fill in the gaps, which did take up a bit more of unnecessary time. Even after that it still didn't look right so I ended up just having both of her eyes open to make it look more even.

The drawing itself is quite simple for it's just a front on head shot, but the main purpose of this was to try colouring in Photoshop. I do have some rough ideas of what I want to try next, and they will probably have proper backgrounds as well. I don't know, haha.
