Description Name: Helios, "The Queen Storm"
 Prompt: Sphere, Hurricane
Locomotion: Usually a hovering motion, seen by the row of glowing organs on its sides. Everything is entirely based on air-based hovering.
Speed: Very high.
Strength: Normally, Helios's physical strength is Average, but when in Sphere Storm mode, his strength is greatly increased from the powerful, circular, sphere-like storm movements it uses in combat. That's partially due to the fact a sphere-like energy force surround the kaiju to protect it from other attacks and uses it as a weapon. Note: This only lasts for about a minute and 30 seconds so use this time wisely.
Endurance:  Quite high, as it has a hide/exoskeleton that allows it to be protected yet allowing it to manoeuvre. However, when concentrated onto one spot, the opponent may have a chance at breaking it though this has never been confirmed.
Agility Traits: hovering, high-speed manoeuvring, dodging at high speeds and quick, evasive sphere-like motions allow it dodge incoming attacks with little exhaustion. However, when its on the ground or pinned by an opponent, it cannot get up as quickly as it usually would, so unfortunately the player has to wait until the enemy finishes their ground based move.
Light Melee: The tail can be used to generate sphere-like wind blades as well as general tail-whipping to quickly inflict light damage. Claws can be used for slashing, back-handing & stabbing multiple opponents (max. 2 opponents).
Heavy Melee: Heavy melee for Helios involves the storm or sphere-like movements; any movements involving a circular or sphere-like motion will cause heavy damage because of the speed and power involved. Because of her spherical yet strong body, she can also ram her opponents. Other heavy melee moves include "rushing" and rolling in the air towards the enemy at extremely high speeds.
Reach: Because of his storm/sphere-like moves, Helios is capable of having long reaches towards her opponent. However, her physical attacks are medium range with hovering speed combined.
Special Moves: First move: Helio-Rage, in which Helios will build-up a huge amount of energy within herself, channelling it into a hurricane shape, then, on her tail, where small organs holding the energy lie, she'll channel the energy into those organs. Then, when everything is built, she spin in a fast, near-uncontrollable way and release a huge amount of wind-based energy. The result: a large shockwave-esque storm that rips through a city and do massive damage on the enemy. Second move: Tatzumaki which is essentially Helios using a row of organs on her side and using the energy from within to release 20 second but vicious-as-hell hurricane-like vortex around her; the opponent will get caught in the wind and she'll proceed to rip them apart with her claws.
Biography: The product of a project intended to be used against ISIS, Helios was an artificially-created creature whose sole purpose was to be used against the terrorists. Using an amalgam of cells----which is still a mystery----- from an unknown variety of humans and animals, Helios hatched from an egg , while being held in the hands of one Dr.  Elizabeth Caldwell, who considered the creature as not a weapon, but more akin to a child. *Note: The really diabolical thing is that Dr. Caldwell actually used cells from her recently murdered daughter, Hannah, as way to kickstart Helios creation* Throughout the creature's childhood, Dr. Caldwell becmae its mother----a vivid scene from Helios childhood was when the creature and Dr. Caldwell looked out into the sunset, side-by-side. They became such, such good friends; Helios looked onto Dr. Caldwell as if she was---wait for it----her own mother!
But, during this time, Hannah's mind started interfering with Helios genetically programmed mind and over time, Helios became disillusioned with everything. Afterwards, Helios refused to do anything she was instructed. Helios also felt very sad and angry, for this  "Second Mind" it is possessing; it even fought with "Second Mind"/Hannah's soul on a few occasions.  A worried and distraught Dr. Caldwell pleaded to her superiors to stop the experimentation with DNA, only for her to be revealed that Hannah's boyfriend, who found out to be her murderer, was a terrorist. As soon as Helio's "Second Mind" heard that, Hannah's soul suddenly took control of Helios and destryoed the facility. Dr. Caldwell barely survived the destruction, but now she knows one thing: Helios is out there!

Helios is a creature who used to be content with human companionship, loved Dr. Caldwell and was somewhat spiunky at times. However, after the revelation of th testing and Hannah's murderer, Helios's Second Mind went out of control and destroyed everything. Afterwards, Helios became a creature who is conflicted, bitter, vengeful of any terrorist-related behavior due to the contamination of Hannah's mind. Despite all of the harm Hannah's soul has caused her, she can't help but feel a kinship to her human soul 'sister'. She is now somewhat protective of Dr. Caldwell, but is starting to see her 'mother' in a different light. Now, the only thing on Helios's mind is finding the reason for why she was created----and to see if this world is still worth living in!
Appeal: Again, with any kaiju, you must have a n actual character players can relate to. If it's just a giant creature destroying because either that's what it "just does" or it's something we've seen before, then players will toss the character aside and go fro another kaiju. You want to feel for the kaiju, other than just rage. And this is what I think is Helios's appeal. Along with having awesome powers and a bizarre/frightening appearance---well, maybe not in Helios's case--- you want to make sure the backstory of said kaiju to be interesting and to give the audience/reader/player a reason to give a Godzilla-sized crap about it. Also, Helios is quite verstile in combat and fast too; nothing about the moves are wasted and the fast, hovering motion of Helios makes it quite fun to play as her. you can literally travel around the city/place/arena, etc, in little time and dodge your opponents attacks with ease. But, once it's on the ground, that's where the suspense is. That, to me, is the appeal of Helios, aside from the obvious.

Don't get me wrong, you did a really good job on this piece... it's just that the lighting is making it hard for me to figure out what is what.

Glad you liked it. Yeah, looking back on it now, I should've used the scanner instead of copping out like I did. I'm thinking of doing like that pretty soon because it's a shame I decided to photograph it which doesn't always get all the detail.

Don't worry about it dude: We all mistakes. Once I tried to use my crappy laptop webcam to take a picture of my notes. It ended up just looking like me holding a notebook full of chicken scratch to my face lol
