Lightning over cold slick skin
Late night doodle.
Sorry I haven't had any super great art to share with you guys, I've only really been doing quick stuff lately. I'm once more unemployed and freelancing, and currently wrestling with whether or not I really want to continue pursuing art as a career.

I know this has been a year ago and you're in a great spot right now but if for whatever, WHATEVER, reason you ever come back to this state where you question whether or not you want to art as profession, please know and realize you are an incredible artist, that you will pave a way, and that very few people can art and imagine like you can.
Why a lot of us don't have a job is lack of self promotion, not lack of skill or work ethic. You do not lack skill or a work ethic at all (as if that was a question) and your stuff is beautiful. You seem like a great person to be with too.
Hope you don't get back and question yourself again because artistry is hard enough.

I have to say whether you decide to pursue art as a career or not- you should keep drawing anyway- your such a wonderful artist and like many have said an inspiration. I am sorry to hear about your employment troubles. so I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I still really love this one. Doodle or not, it's brilliant. The mood is heavy with the sense of raw, tingling power.
Now I'm wondering what lightning tastes like.
I hope things look up for you soon; you're an amazing person, with an amazing world on your hands, and an inspiration to a lot of people, not just for your ability to create. Prayers for a speedy find for the way you need to go, whatever that ends up being.

As all the others have said, you truly are an inspiration. I look forward to seeing your work on my feed everyday, and I would be really disappointed if you stopped sharing it with the world. I think that somebody who is capable of creating these beings and universes as well as you are should keep striving, no matter what. One day, the universe will reciprocate your efforts. It has a funny way of doing that, but only if you keep going. Please, whatever you end up doing -- don't stop creating art.

Fantastic "doodle" haha. And sorry that you're going through a tough time with employment. As someone who's currently enrolled in school to get work in the game industry, things seems kind of bleak when someone of your level of talent is having trouble finding work. Good luck finding a worth-while gig. It would be a real loss if you stopped creating

The movie/game industry is pretty fragile at the moment. I've worked for 4 different companies in the last 6 years cause of lay offs, buy outs, just taking whatever positions I can... facebook games... The stress is ulcer inducing and moving sucks... a lot. I've wanted to give up every time I switched jobs. But I love video games and I love working with other people in this industry, so that keeps me going. You have a lot of talent, I'd hate to see you give it up professionally. Your critters are so fun to look at

I love how slick and fluid your art always is. It is such a unique treat for the eyes, I would certainly find it a shame if you did not do something artistic for a living. The world needs your,overly arts! I understand how frustrating it can be though to be between jobs...for what it's worth I would buy up another art book from you in a heartbeat. Was just showing that old book of sketches you released a few years ago to some friends this past week and they too were in awe. *sends Internet hugs* I hope your job search terminates into some great new opportunity for you very quickly.

Sorry to hear about your art/job troubles. I'm in the same boat, and it's a pain because it's hard to know how much effort to put into it, when perhaps I should be spending that time and effort on re-directing myself.
That said, even your doodles floor me. So fluid, and a powerfully unique vision.

Aww, you shouldn't be so self-conscious about doing "quick stuff"; not only is it really good (especially this!) but as long as you're making something, that's what should matter.
As for your career situation, I don't know if you're in a situation of insecurity in your work or just burned out by the profession (I'm still an art student so I can't imagine how much work freelancing must be), but either way I hope you continue making the kind of art you make, whether it's in your personal time or professionally. Your style is very distinct and different from a lot of art I see, and I really hope you keep with it whatever you decide to do.
