I had an odd desire to draw today. that doesn't happen too often, so I had to act on it. I decided I'd do another drawing from Disney's The Black Cauldron.

Eilonwy doesn't really look like she's too sure of whatever Taran is thinking.

So, now I'll go into all the things I don't like about this picture (yeah, typical self-criticism). Umm... First of all, it looks like Taran is gigantic. Maybe it's just me, but he just looks so much bigger. Secondly.... There is absolutely zero green in this picture. And a ton of brown. How wrong is that?! Taran needs a new wardrobe, but that's just my opinion, and I had to make all those different color browns from THREE different brown pencils. Sheesh... Oh! I made a special trip to by new markers to make the outline for this one, but it turns out the ones I got bled too much. I ended up having to use the free pen that came with them.

Umm... Despite all of that, I'm happy with this one. I just hope the scanner didn't make it look too much like crap.
