This piece is part of The Mirrored Copycat. I used the same abstract drawing I made in Microsoft Excel to create this design. While I was making this design, I asked my boyfriend if he thought I was weird. I was thinking that the color blends were too offbeat and that maybe it's a reflection of my personality. He replied by saying Yes, but then he asked me, Why would you want to be normal? I couldn't give him a good answer. I was thinking that maybe my work wouldn't be too weird but then I immediately thought that I like my work so I didn't know what to say. He then talked about the meaning of what's normal in this society and I felt myself wanting to slap some sense in my head. I arrived at the same conclusion as he did. Why be normal, just be you.

So I continued blending... trying to create a blend that strayed from the first piece I created which was The Mirrored Copycat. I wanted to create kind of 3d effect and I think you can see multiple layers of the main shape. I also wanted to create a texture out of the shape as well and blend that into design. I really love how this turned out.
