Description
Happy "End of the World" day everyone!I know this is kinda a cliche' bit, sense almost everyone is referencing that game recently, but I wanted an excuse to draw that freaky moon. (It always kinda freaked me out a bit.)
I was originally going to edit Link out, 'cause he came out kinda crappy, but somehow he looks funnier that way, so I kept him in. This was drawn completely in pen, so I couldn't erase any mistakes, but enjoy.

I just realized the title is a reference to the Ruby Spears Mega Man cartoon. If I made a Mega Man game I would cast Scott McNeil as Dr. Wily.

Yeah it's a reference to that. Particularly this famous "Youtube Poop" splice parody. [link]

Yeah, the moon's freaky face kinda freaked me out as a kid, I admit.

I'm glad you left Link in there! He looks hilarious!
Great job on the moon, too. I think this is still my favorite Zelda game. It's so dark and creepy!

Thanks, I guess the badly drawn Link kinda clashes nicely with the moon.
I think it's one of my favorites to, given how odd, and unorthodox it is compared to other Zeldas. (Plus the repeating 3-day system allows you to do things you can't do in other Zeldas. Like refight the bosses if you wish.)
Funny thing is, I never owned the original N64 version for some reason, (though I did have Ocarina) but I do have the GameCube version via the "Zelda: Collector's Editon" compilation game, though that version of Majora is kinda glichy... (Damn game froze up on me 3 times my first play through. Very annoying considering it's awkward way of saving.)
Luckily, I got the cleaner & better Virtual Console version for free from Club Nintendo for becoming a "Gold status" member.
(Hasn't froze up on me once, and works perfectly.)

I've only ever owned the cartridge, but I'm very glad the re-released it on the other consoles too
I always think of it around Halloween because I was playing it instead of trick or treating in 2000 haha

Oh yeah, I wanna add, I love how you used music from the game in one of your Youtube video shorts. ("The give the raccoon a cookie" one, I think that's my favorite one.) I must add, that theme "the final hours" is one of my favorite musical themes in the game.
It's simultaniously beautiful/peaceful sounding, yet also a li'l foreboding/creepy to.

Oh yeah! We used Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time music in a few movies. I got the soundtracks to those and I think ten other games from the Nintendo Power Supply catalogues Nintendo Power (R.I.P.) used to send out! I love "the final hours" music too, it's amazing

Awesome, only ones I had were the Paper Mario, Killer Instinct, Banjo Kazooie, and Twilight Princess ones. (3 of 'em I got for free by renewing my NP subscriptions, and the K.I. one came with my second SNES, which had that game, and soundtrack included.)
I wish they still sold those. I regret not getting some of those. Oh well.

Mmm those are great ones! Did you get that "Smashing Live" one too? I don't remember if that's what it was called but it was a collection of fully orchestrated music from Smash Bros. that I think was distributed free inside the magazine when they were promoting Melee. Mine got ruined because the glue holding the dumb paper sleeve it came in melted onto the disc one summer! Deeply regret not transferring it to a plastic case before that happened!

Oh yeah, I think I got that one from Nintendo Power somewhere, but I don't know where it is. And yeah, I wish they gave us a better slipcover case for it, or something. It was actually based on a orchistra concert in Japan I heard.
Shame Nintendo Power stopped giving away cool stuff like that. (Though, I did get a Poke'mon DVD from them a year or 2 ago, and some Kid Icarus cards.) Also shame NP ended... (I was a subscriber to it sense 1997.)

Some people are petitioning to get the game remade on 3DS. (Like "Ocarina of Time 3D.") Eiji Aonuma (a producer for the games) said they might consider it after making a brand new Zelda for 3DS.
Maybe it's 'cause of the game's theme of masks to that makes you think of Halloween.

To tell you the truth, I thought this was going to happen on 12/21/2012. The moon destroying the Earth like in that game.
