I love Tails, don't get me wrong! (He's probilly my favorite Sonic character.)But chances are while playing a classic Sonic game we've all probilly had the temptation to do some mean stuff to the loveable li'l 2-tailed fox once in awhile.
(When playing as Sonic, with Tails following him controlled by the computer.)
Ever made Tails walk over a cliff, or under a trap, and let him get crushed? Ever sped off, and left the guy behind in a pit of spikes, or lava? Ever picked up the second controller, and made Tails walk into danger before? Chances are, we've all done at least one mean thing to him while playing.
We oughtta be ashamed of ourselves! It's just one of the guilty pleasures while playing a Sonic game. It's fun to do, but I always feel a li'l bad for doing it. Hehe
(One of my favorite things to do to him, is in "Sonic 2" in the Metropolis Zone, run way ahead of Tails, and then run on one of those bolt lifts to make it go up, and then when Tails runs underneith it to catch up to you, then run the oppisite way to make it go down, right on top of him! SQUASH!)I guess the main reason I drew this is because I've always wanted to do a flattening gag. (Haven't drawn one in years.) It's probilly one of my favorite cartoony sight-gags.
Poor Tails. (Mabey I'll make a pic where he gets his revenge on Sonic someday.)

Heh, I saw this video when in Sonic 2 there was that pit of pink water that Sonic sent Tails into. Apparently that was the "reason" why Tails got another tail and was nicknamed that. Poor Tails...

I'll bet Tails does an evil stuntloop on his plane and makes Sonic fall off.
Admittadly I have done that to Tails. It was mostly on accident. But sometimes I let him go first because he's invincible.

On sonic 3 when you play as Sonic with tails, its wierd because when he gets killed he flys down to you from the sky! Its wierd!

This doesn't look too odd after watching all these "Tails abuse" volumes on youtube...But hey! In-game world needs to have this sort of second-hand fun that wasn't initially the idea of creators!
