To Urd-chanHappened to finish this first..
When I read TOtD, I initially began to think of Inuyasha as the Egyptian god Anubis. Then I looked up some things about Ancient Egypt (wow imagine that one fic can motivate you to actually study) such as how they were obsessed about hair and makeup (even the men).
About the art, I wanted to make Inuyasha's hair longer or even tie it up loosely but there was also the thought about the climate and how it would be uncomfortable for him. Yes, seriously I was thinking of that. Then of course there is a bit of jewels on his hair and also a small amount of kohl(is that what you call it?) on his eyes.
Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun doing this.

WOW! I've been on-line rather sporadically lately - computer problems (after over a month of diagnostics and repair, my old Mac is finally back up), phone lines being down (nearly three days without a phone, and we have dial-up), and a schedule that has me wondering how I'm going to make it to the end of the year without ending up in the hospital with exhaustion. Then, I finally start getting back on-track, and this is one of the first things I see.
Again, Wow! This turned out amazing, and I'm so honored that you'd take time to do a picture for MY fanfic. Your art is amazing, and I especially love the traditional medium used on it. CG is great, but there's something special about art that wasn't done almost completely on a computer. My own lack of skills with watercolors makes me appreciate this even more.
Congratulations again on the page views (although your art should be pulling in many times what you have), and thanks. This means more to me than you can know.

Beautiful! The image size is good, too, because you can see it from far away but still close enough to make out details, and you can see it close enough to inspect all the cool little close up things. ^^ Just wondering, what did you use exactly to make it?
