Description

I haven't done one of these in a while, so I decided to do another "Twisted Metal: Small Brawl" Reimagining. And for this round I took a shot at the Chemical Warfare tank "Biohazard".

However, I decided to do 2 things differently. 1) for many of the vehicles, I have 2 cars that share stories, as some of the Rogue Trip cars I came up with can share drivers with Twisted Metal cars. In this case, the shared car is "Vermin" from TM:2012, mixed with a bit of Goggle Eye's Roach Coach concept art. And 2), I decided to take a shot at the Driver this time. Not my best work, but it's a start.

If you were to ask anyone the definition of Germaphobe, Karl Flemming is the poster child on steroids. Flemming has had a Mental Paranoia of Germs, Bacteria, and Diseases since he was a small child after contracting a cold. Traumatized at a young age, he developed a deep fear of all germs and lived an isolated, lonely life style. Over the years his paranoia turned him into a suit wearing monstrosity, living in a decontaminated bubble at all times, only leaving for essentials, wearing an air tight and germ resistant suit that he designed himself, and refusing contact with everyone. His odd gas mask has earned him the nickname "Goggle Eyes" among his classmates. His obsession with cleanliness reached a new high when he began spraying down cleaning chemicals and disinfectants on everyone in a 10 foot radius, sending many classmates to the hospital. He even has all meals decontaminated before he eats, often with him ingesting any chemicals he uses. This combined with the lack of vitamin D from not getting any sum exposure has left his skin gangly and greenish. Believing that germs have destroyed his life (and not his own paranoia), he enters Calypso's game with the goal of wiping out all germs and diseases known to man.

His vehicle of choice is a custom tank known as "Biohazard". This military rank is equipped with all the greatest chemical pesticides he could get his hands on, and even strapped on a Bug Bomb as his ammo holder. His special consists of a gas sprayer mounted on the front that shoots corrosive cleaners and pesticides to melt and eat the other cars. If that fails, he can press the up button 3 times and launch "the Bug Bomb", which shoots the whole can on top in a massive bomb, which when manually detonated creates a massive explosion. Letting it cook will increase it's damage and range. Alternatively, he can drive the modified exterminator van Vermin.

If he won, he would demand that Calypso get rid of all germs, bacteria and diseases in the world. Calypso grants his wish, and though nothing has changed on the outside, he can feel everything feeling cleaner. Finally feeling free, he takes off the suit and begins emailing and dancing....while Calypso tries not to throw up at his horrid appearance.

Karl is hailed as a hero, and is praised by the scientific community for saving thousands of lives. He is finally free.....for about 4 days. Out of no where, new bacteria and Diseases pop up, with no prior scientific background or history. Because the scientific community has no information about these diseases, and the wide spread germs quickly kill off most life on earth, with only 5% of humanity left by the end of the year. Those who are left live in a chemical apocalyptic wasteland, living in tribes and battling for resources. Karl, once hailed as a hero, is quickly reviled and outcast as the destroyer, and is once again trapped in his suit, this time forever. He roams the California coastline in a tank similar to Biohazard, and constantly runs from people hunting him down, who are lead by Calypso and his sister (who stole some of his gear before the world went to shit). He is forever alone once again.
