Another entry in my Twisted Metal Small series, and this time it's "Pyro" from Rogue Trip: Vacation 2012 (since I not only want to do all the Small Brawl cars, but also all the TM2 and Rogue Trip cars).

This one is meant to replace my old School Bus character Detention, and I had a blast with this one, really wanting to dig into more of the "Homemade Weapon" aspect of Small Brawl. The idea of making the tanker truck have a propane tank instead of a regular tanker truck tank was a no brainer (I also added an addition of the propane tank being held on by a belt), and I loved the idea of using a super soaker with a lighter at the end as a flamethrower for his special weapon. I also wanted to take inspiration from the original concept art for the character, adding the front spikes and the flame turret on top.

Contestant #17: Pyro

Type: Gas Truck w/ Propane Tank

Class: Heavy

Special: Vapor Wave/Incendiary Shockwave

Driver: Damian Cole

Bio Concept: Damian is an arsonist/anarchist who has been to juvie hall multiple times, whose only goal is to be respected and feared for his misdemeanors. When he finds out about Calypso’s contest, and how much hell it reigns down, he feels threated. When he wins, he will make sure he is the most feared kids on the block

Ending Concept: As Damian pulls into the junkyard, he demands that Calypso hand over his contest, so that he may be the most feared individual in the city. Calypso at first is hesitant, but after a quick realization, willingly hands over the reins to him and runs away. Damian screams victoriously before the police show up and arrest him for the destruction caused by Twisted Metal, Calypso getting off Scott free. Instead of being taken to juvie hall, where he is top dog, he is sent to actual prison.....where he is far at the Bottom of the food chain.
