Description

Did another TM: Small Brawl Concept, this time Mr. SLAM. Didn't add too many changes this time, as I felt the design was already really good, just added some more exposed goodies to the front. This one won't be as radical as some of my others, and the story isn't as fleshed out since I'm tired from College. Let me know what you think.

Contestant #13: Mr. SLAM

Type: Front Loader

Class: Heavy

Special: Bucket Grab n Slam

Driver: Simon Whittlebone

Bio: Simon is a stern, hardworking Teenager with a no nonsense attitude. When not in school he is constantly working on various construction projects, both independent for neighbors and at his Father's construction sites. He has a very high work ethic, but is not really popular amongst others his age due to his philosophy, as he views a persons worth entirely on their work ethic adn workload. While not really confrontational about it, he can be very judgmental of those who he deems as "not working hard enough". Despite this, he isn't too quick to anger, and general remains neutral most of the time. This attitude pissed of Calypso to no end.

Having had enough after several failed attempts to get him truly mad, Calypso decided to destroy the one place that meant anything to him, and burnt down his Tree House. This was the breaking point for Simon, as that Tree House was his first ever construction project, and he has added to it every year since it's initial completion using the money he made from the projects he worked on over the years. It was his quiet place to do school work or the very rare times he needs to just sit down. With his last place of solitude gone, Simon snapped. He set out for revenge on Calypso.

Entering the contest using the funds he had initially used to expand the Tree House to buy the biggest RC Front loader possible. Very little modifications where needed to it's armor and drive due to it's sheer size and the amount of Plastic on it already. He has one of the more armored vehicles because of this, though at the cost of much of his speed. Any money he had left he spent on upgrading the front scoop. Not content with the crappy gearmotors that powered the lift, he replaced them with a series of massive, 20kg torque metal gear servos that could lift even the heaviest of RC Cars. But simply flipping the cars wasn't on his mind, no, he needed to crush them, and to that end he purchased a massive, spring operated Bear Trap, one that was capable of crushing any car in his wake (and maybe break Calypso's legs), and bolted it to the front of the Loader. These 2 elements combined form his special weapon. When activated, the arm lifts up while cocking back the spring jaws wide open. When released, the servos slam down with maximum force, the jaws snapping on any car in his way, crushing them. He then proceeds to live up to his namesake and smash the car against the ground multiple times until they are shaken free. If it misses, the servo force will still cause a small Shockwave. When it connects, it is one of the most powerful attacks in the contest. Mr. SLAM is Simon's tool for cold blooded revenge, and he won't stop until he gets it.
