A lot of people post a pink or blue article of clothing on a newborn to help outsiders figure what gender the baby is without having to awkwardly ask. When Derpy posted a green ribbon on Dinky Rarity just shut down because she had no idea if Dinky was a filly or colt.

It's mostly gobbledygook based around some actual terminology and issues.
"cis-" is the opposite of "trans-", it comes from chemistry but has been adopted for use in describing gender identity.
"whatever-kin" generally refers to people who have a deep connection to the whatever, often to the point of not really feeling that they should even be a human.
The comment about "cis white ponies" refers to the fact that the privilege[1] involved in being cisgendered and white often means that one does not understand the issues in play and will unthinkingly get things wrong.
[1] Since I know someone is going to need this explained: Privilege refers to the fact that there are problems you don't have to face. For instance, very few white drivers get pulled over for 'driving while black'.
