Water colour pencils and HB mechanical pencil on terrible paper!
Screen cap used for the face and reference for the skull.
The score is Bach's Sonata No.1 for Solo Violin in G, the piece Sherlock is playing in The Reichenbach Fall as Moriarty climbs the stairs.
Also, the chemical formulas are Cocaine, Nicotine and Caffeine. Thought I'd have a bit of fun with that!

A spooky and beautiful portrait! I can imagine John's words -- both "β¦you machine!" and "β¦the best manβ¦the most humanβ¦human being" -- playing in Sherlock's head every so often, haunting him.
Also, love that you added the honeycombsβ¦a reference to the original Sherlock Holmes' retirement into beekeeping, perhaps?

wow, I love how cleverly you aranged the whole composition. And the skull-face is has just the right amount of the 'creepy' thing to it, perfectly reflects sherlock's persona: beautiful, amazing, and a teensy bit scary. I love everything about it!
