Havent posted a new updated photo of my yoko cosplay in a fort night!I did some intensive work on y new boots to remove some straps and buckles, i still have to paint them! Evan did the math for studding the belt. my wig had been styled [though its barely noticeable]
i still need to make the bracelets and get some yellow glasses! and then of course, my rifle!

Maybe you don't see it wrong, but as a cosplayer, I simply don't see the necessity of doing it.
Each thing at "its" place.
It's just about that, what I am talking about.
If she needs money for any reason, there is lingerie to use at photoshoots or she can even do it without any clothes, and if she also loves cosplay and want to be a cosplay model, she can sell "normal" prints of her costumes too, as a lot of others cosplayers do.
I don't know why is so wrong to do it in that way, for example.
(maybe it would even better for her, 2 money ways)
But my point, (and what brought me here) is that I don't want something that is supposely "artistic" and about crafting something from nothing, being seen from the "outsiders" as a sex related hobby because, IN MY OPINION, it's not what it is.
But maybe the problem is that she and me, don't share the same concept about what cosplay is... and then, there is nothing here for me.

If we are talking about laws, you are right, it's not illegal, but the same happens for example about throwing the smoke from cigarrettes to kids face, and I hope you don't like that either just because it's not illegal :/
About the website 'cosplay deviants' I don't have much to say, but just the fact that a web is focused on something doesn't make it "righter" or "wronger".
I bet there are sites focused on pedophile, for example, so... :/

Hi, first of all it's a good cosplay, but I'm not commenting for this.

I've visited the link on your description, and I just want to tell you that you shouldn't beg money showing yourself in semi-nude cosplay costumes.
If you want to cosplay, it's ok....If you want to earn money showing your body to the fappers it's ok...but don't mix them.
I guess you want to earn fast&easy money using your beewbs, but don't use the cosplay world as an excuse, please.

I realize that talking sense into judgemental pricks with preconceived notions of their own intelligence and superiority is usually an uphill battle, but i'm going to try anyway. 1.) You have NO RIGHT to judge ANYONE on how they support themselves. aside from selling crack to children, how someone supports themselves financially is up to them, and the circumstances they were born into, not random assholes on the internet. Not everyone has wealthy parents to support their hobbies 2.) If you are really going to go around passing judgement on other cosplayers for showing off their sex appeal with a costume, you have far more important targets than me. Jessica Nigri being asked to leave the floor of PAX for an overly revealing Juliet Starling costume comes to mind. or YaYa Han showing about 98% of her 'beewbs' in every one of her cosplays. or Ivy Doomkitty for selling whole calenders of herself in revealing costumes with some very suggestive poses. But you're not about to go after anyone that isn't an easy target are you? which bring's me to 3.) the money isn't fast or easy, but it is doing something that i love and i am fortunate enough to have a boyfriend who loves me and supports me while i pursue my dreams of becoming a cosplay model. What have you done with your life that gives you the right to pass judgement on me (or anyone) for trying to make a career out of something they love? The internet doesn't need another asshole telling complete strangers everything that they're doing wrong with their lives. Grow up or GTFO.

Well, let's do it point by point, then.
1) I'm not judging you, I'm just giving my opinion, the same as the dudes that praise you. The difference is that you don't like what you read, and that becomes me into the bad guy, the internet asshole.
If someone tells you that you are beautiful or that your costume is great (like in the others photos) it's ok and they aren't judging you?, but if don't, are they judging you and want you to go to hell? Dat logic.
By the way, I liked how you insinuated that I am from a wealthy family, because you are right, I normally go from a place to another in a golden Rolls-Royce with a driver...in fact, even the driver is golden.
2) Do you REALLY think that you are the first one and only?
Do you REALLY think that I selected you because I think you are weak or something?

By the way, if you really want to be a SERIOUS cosplay model and if I have your permission to give you a humble advice (ADVICE, not an order, remember)
I'd request you something : open a bunch of your photos, and then look at the next those 2 images, then tell me which one have more similarities with yours.

The 1st is my concept of a worked cosplay and someone who I'd follow, the 2nd is a pornstar that it's just dressed and recorded a sex tape as Powergirl because people told her that she looks like her.
I know it can sound "heavy", but the message is simple.
I'm sure that my opinion won't change your mind, but I just want you to know that if you really want to be a COSPLAY model, you should concentrate in costumes, because AGAIN IN MY OPINION, cosplay world is about the costumes.
Another thing is that you want to exploit your body with the excuse of wearing a costume, exaclty what happens in the image number 2.

so you come on to my deviant art page, left an insulting message saying i was nothing but fap material and shouldn't confuse that with cosplay, and don't like it when i call you out for being the judgemental ass that you are? cry me a river, rich boy. I have no idea what you're trying to say by asking me if i think i'm the first and only (i mentioned THREE other cosplay models in my reply that admittedly have better costumes and more experience) so i would recommend getting a CT scan. And way to throw a real zinger at me,"So you have a boyfriend, meh!" the only reason i mentioned him is because i couldn't do this without help, and i want to give credit where credit is due. Also, you give advice like a condescending prick. Asking me if i think i look more like an airbrushed photo or lo-fi porn? I PRAY that you never have a daughter. And for the record, I have been doing this for a few months, on a VERY limited budget, in my spare time. I think I'm doing pretty damn good. have a shit day and jump off a cliff.

About the "first one and only", I just wanted to told you that you weren't the first one who I gived my opinion about this topic, not that you were the first one doing "sex-appeal cosplay".

And to finish last, take it easy, if you really want to be a model, (or simply upload something on the internet) you should start to accepting critiques or bad comments (the same as the good ones) without desire the death of the sender...(this should sound to you as another condescending prick advice, I guess)

you dont understand my aggression when you have called me fap material, which not only is disrespectful to me, it belittles the amount of work that i put into my cosplays, and have compared me to a pornstar. It would be like me coming up to you, and saying "wow i bet you have a tiny D" and then being confused when your mad. You talk to Ducky about me, like i cant read what you are going to say. Lets start, i could just as easily be a porn star, and make money by selling nude photos of myself? yes i could, but i do not want to. its that simple. next point there, sell normal prints, most of the time, you have to have the money to make the print, along with the money to go to the convention to sell the print. Yes i understand that people see it as a sexual thing from the outside, overly sexualized characters, mixed with sites like cosplaydeviants, make it look like we dress up to have sex. But you compare that to a pedofillia site. do you think any less of someones cosplay, no matter how much work they put into it if they pose nude in character? I do know that cosplaydeviants get paid upwards of $200 per shoot once it goes live on the site, and they also have a fund of $100 per month compensation for costumes they make themselves. If thats how someone wants to support themselves, then there is nothing wrong with it.
Your argument about my pikachu cosplay MIGHT be a little more valid, if i wernt wearing a full covering bottom under, im not wearing a thong, or anything sexual, a bikini bottom, you can see a small amount of the curve of my butt, and you know what, i have a mature content tag on the photo for that reason.
Cosplay to me, is the hours of work i put into a cosplay, replacing that one piece so that the costume is finally perfect, and becoming that character. The way i felt the first time i wore my pikachu cosplay, which was designed for a halloween party, and having everyone recognise me, and ask me how i made my ears, and all of the work i put into it. Look at my Touko cosplay, Its non revealing, I threw that together before a halloween party right after white came out, i barely did anything for that costume, besides put on clothes that were close to hers, and ive worked hard to remedy that, and make it into a costume i can be proud to wear. If you look at my Yoko cosplay, how far its come from being the half assed closet creation i threw together the day before a convention i didnt even go to. Since then, ive stepped up my game, ive worked hard on this costume and many others. Hell i spent 3 and a half hours pain-stakingly seam ripping 8 straps and buckles off of my new boots, and thats not even all the work i have to do, i still have zipper pulls to make, and flames to paint!
now if you will excuse me i have some cosplay i need to "disgrace" by doing a charity video.

But that's the thing. There's NOTHING wrong with doing both. Have you ever heard of a company called cosplay deviants? It's literally made for people to 'sell themselves' whilst cosplaying at the same time, and that's awesome. There's absolutely no reason why anyone should not do both at the same time, especially when they enjoy doing so.
It's not illegal.
It's not hurting anyone.
There is literally NO logical reason at all for her to not make money from this.

So please do enlighten me on what she's done that's so insanely wrong that means she can't cosplay whilst making money in a perfectly legit way.
