So, I'm trying to get back in my art groove. Which means doing art. And mostly in traditional media (markers or pencils).

Here's Princess Ruto from Legend of Zelda. I went with the Hyrule Warriors design, more because it gave some patterning on Ruto's torso, even if it means her chest is even more inexplicable. Insert my canned rant about how not every humanoid species' adult female needs a shape like breasts on her chest.

Anyway, what I learned was that my normal black inking markers do bleed when I color even though I did test them first. And that I need to remember to do the mirror test on my sketches. But the blending turned out better than I expected. Still need to practice more with planning, since (unlike digital paints), I can't throw a lighter color on top of a darker one with markers.
