Introducing to you the Tengu series featuring the brilliant photographic art of Jade Martin and the stunning modelling talents of Below Dark Water. So much love for these gorgeous ladies! ♥ ♥ ♥Tengu ("heavenly dogs") [link] - are a class of supernatural creatures found in Japanese folklore, art, theater, and literature. They are one of the best known yōkai (monster-spirits) and are sometimes worshipped as Shinto kami (revered spirits or gods). Although they take their name from a dog-like Chinese demon (Tiangou), the tengu were originally thought to take the forms of birds of prey, and they are traditionally depicted with both human and avian characteristics.

I love the Bondi area, it reminds me of Byron where I grew up half my childhood. I love swimming too.
Bondi has become more funky and hip than Newtown now, and even cheaper in some pockets,
which just goes to show how yuppie Newtown and the Inner West has become. I can't afford the rents there.

My dream suburb would be Bronte fo sho but yeh rent ughhh, Im in Croydon now, in an Art Deco - my first apartment I LOVE it.

I forget about all of the wonderful big old victorian and deco houses and estates in
that area, always surprises me whenever I travel through those inner west suburbs.

this is interesting makeup but i don't see how it really relates to tengu in any way.

The traditional Japanese red-faced Tengu masks with the long nose along with the half man, half bird like creature inspired Cailin (the model) to come up with the title. The original inspiration were owls, which was also Cailin's concept, but somehow my design manifested as a firey bird creature. I was on strong pain killers for severe back pain that day so the results got a lil trippy.
On that note - inspiration by its nature should never result as an exact interpretation, otherwise it would just be another copy.
