How many carnies does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

“Falling! I’m falling!” Joella yelled.

“You’re choking me! Stop moving!” Teagan yelled back.

Nora ran over to the tower of women, hoping to help in some way. “Why did you do this?!”

Joella had just been making lunch. She was working away in the kitchen when Elodie walked in for lunch. The friendly French lady made herself up a plate before chatting up Joella. The two enjoyed the other company. Joella even left her kitchen sit with Elodie and talk. That’s when the noticed the flickering light bulb in the dining tent.

Jo let out a little huff and went to get her ladder all the way across the carnival living grounds at her house. Before she could finish excusing herself though, Elodie made her stop. The barefoot lady finished her bite of food and headed out. Minutes later she was back with Teagan. Teagan was just plain confused when Elodie positioned her under the burning out light bulb. Elodie helped Jo up onto Teagan’s shoulders before either of them knew what was happening.

Nora walked into an awkward scene. Teagan and Jo were yelling as Elodie was climbing up them both. There was a lightbulb in Elodie’s mouth and her face was set in full determination. She sat herself down on Joella’s shoulders. From there, she changed the light bulb for Joella.

She threw a nice half-court shot from the top of the tower, throwing the broken lightbulb into the trashcan. Then, to commemorate the moment, she wiped out a selfie stick. Unfortunately all of Elodie’s movement was too much for the other two unexpecting tower members.

This is what I had for a riddle. I started thinking about this theme when it came up on the board and this idea didn’t come around for a while. I wanted to go for a carnival riddle but I couldn’t find a good one. So this is what happened when I was told I had this bad boy.

I’m sorry if this was out of character for Elodie, but it seemed completely random for her. Teagan’s mouth is probably all wrong, but I was happy with how it looked. Does her mouth actually open, Spi?
