Okay, here's my thoughts and theories after seeing FNAF Sister location. Mister Aften from the book is possibly the murderer and the father of the fnaf 4 kid his brother and the sister.

"Phone guy theory"
The brother is the phone guy because he mentions Foxy was his favorite and his father helped make the robots so he knows how they work and how to fend them off and tell the other guards how to defend themselves because father helped make them and is tampering with them. in fnaf 2 he's a young teen and in fnaf 1 he's an adult, and the phone guy recordings in fnaf 3 are the father mister aften and he mentions the springlock incident at the siter location which is either his son getting his head crushed by fredbear or Baby scooping his daughter.

"Sister Theory"
Baby was modeled after mister Aften's daughter who accidentally killed her at the Freddy fazbear sister location pizzaria. She was also the older sister of the fnaf 4 kid.

"FNAF 4 Kid"
The crying boy is mister Aften's youngest son. The vampire cartoon series on the tv is an interpretation of Aften and his wife and Aften won't accept the boy is his son for some reason. The boy is crying because he's neglected by his father and bullied by his older brother and the sister tries to comfort him. He's becomes golden freddy and the fredbear plushie was the puppet possessed by the owner of the company mister Henry who's son was killed outside fredbear's dinner by aften or someone else. In sister locations we see camera. In night five of sister location we see the private room on the security monitors the kids house which might be more evidence he could be Aften's son.

"Ennarnd is Purple guy"
Ennard was mimicing the sister and baby's voice and a piece of all the animatronics and needs a human body to get out so he lures aften to the scooping room, and kills him, and takes his body and this is how aften becomes the evil murderer.

Now whether any of these theories are correct of false is unknown. These are just my own personal thoughts on if these characters are related or not. But it is possible that the phone guy, Baby, and Golden Freddy are his children and are connected to animatronics and if the purple guy is human or a machine.
