Contest prize for =Khalivea who came first in my Draw Nyros contest last year C:This is her character Rex, who has a banging headache and is now talking to his cat (who I have named Simon) XD He seems the type to be this grumpy assed man with a soft spot for cats.
...Simon just wants feeding, he doesn't much care for the conversation.

RIGHTSO I SAW THIS IN MY INBOX, and I let it sit there for a VERY VERY LONG TIME because it's just so amazing that I still can't stop looking at it LOL.
But anywho, I love the colors. They're so dark and rich and intense and yet somehow the whole picture still has this depressing and desaturated feel to it.
And the only really bright part of this picture is the kittycat, really. IT'S LIKE IT'S ALMOST SYMBOLIC OR SOMETHING. *is brick'd*
But no really, this is gorgeous and I think it's one of my favorite pieces in your gallery. I love it. <333333

I really like this. His pose is very cool and it looks like he just woke up so his neck probably hurts as much as his head does. I adore how you colored his skin! It looks so nice. That cat looks soooo cute and Im really digging that tree in the background XD

this was SO worth the wait Becca!! I absolutely love all the details like all the junk and pills lying around and the smokeyness 8D (and do I see some porn?? xD) I dunno if i mentioned about the cat thing anywhere but HE WOULD TOTES HAVE A CAT EVEN THOUGH HE'D BE THE WORST PET OWNER EVER lkfgh once my friend drew him feeding a cat fish and chips, it was beautiful. I'm really temoted to make Simon his ~official~ cat now, I love ginger kitties hehe <3

I am impressed that despite using actually a load of colours in this it still looks dark and grimy and has that dark hungover kind of atmosphere. I think it's largely thanks to the blue blended into the skin. Fine indeed, and great to see arts from you again!

I actually put layers and layers and LAYERS of dark grey over this to get a grungy look to it. Believe me, it looked like my usual rainbow puke beforehand! *lol* Dark art is hard for me X3
