*Tarrot gave me this gorgeous sketch of Becki a while ago and today I decided to colour her and give her a wonky map like background C:Those gems on her top and the sparkle in her eye are actually sticky jewels that I found in my drawer of magical art things I forgot I had. Hooray discovery 8D

Baallllllllllllllls I will always love your colors. ALWAYS. They're so bright and just rainbowy and I love them. ;;
I know it's always a lot easier to color a picture that starts off with good lineart, and I can tell that Tarrot definitely gave you a great sketch to work with!
Also I really like that you used real sticky jewels on this. I love those so much, and they really make stuff pop. I know I'm guilty of using them too when I do traditional art, haha. they're so pretty ;=;

Very tropical! I want malibu now (well, if I wasn't off malibu, but you get the point). The sea looks so lovely and cyan and clean, and Becki so shiny! It's a really nice piece

The map-background is so totally cool! <3 It really frames her nicely, and omg the details. THE DETAILS. The palm tree leaves look great, the ocean looks pretty and shimmery and hogeeze that SKY. Wowwww. <333 It's so lovely! Awesome job!

This is GOOOOOORGEOUS! Omg this is JUST gorgeous. Oh my lord your coloring's so freaking SMOOTH! o___o. Oh my lord I'm just AMAZED right now! And I just love all those amazing vibrant COLORS! Ugh they're, like, ALL THERE. Omg the greens on those amazing freaking palm trees and then the skyyyyy is pink and purple and the waterrrrr BLUEBLUEBLUEEEEEE OMG BLUE GRADIENT OF LOVE THERE IT IS.
And oh my Lord Becki's AMAZING! Vicky did SUCH an amazing job with those lines too WOW. I love how her lovely purple shading compliments those amazing yellow and orange colors in her hair. Ugh I'm just AMAZED. And I love those tiny bright spots, like her eyes and the little gems on her top ughhhh. I really... ugh just WOW. FANTASTIC job to the BOTH of you! <333333

Bristol board is my absolute favourite paper to work with. It's SO expensive though I only use it for special pictures 8D I'm not sure what paper Vikki did the sketch on, but it did take quite a few layers to get out the paper grain. I use WHSmith pads normally, but WHSmith are a UK brand, so I'm not sure of a US equivalent.. Hmm.
ANYWAY I don't think your pictures are grainy. HAVE SOME FAITH <333

I think mine's the crappy type, not to mention I think it's like, 2-ply so it's not very nice with anything wet either. <: The best bristol is probably Canson, so I'm going to guess that's your equivalent
