Faved this a while ago and never commented on it. Well, now I'm gonna rectify that!
This pic is awesome in so many ways!
First, the beautifully obese babe! The way her amazing rolls of pudge hang pendulously from her ample frame is stunning. Her bulging arm flab is just beautiful and her stupendously stupefying belly is mind-blowing.
Second: The shading and coloring is great. It all comes together nicely to really pop the picture out from its two-dimensional limitations. Simple, yet very effective!
Third: The way the foreground girls and the background waves are both out of focus is simply amazing. It really pulls one's eyes to the only thing that really matters in this pic - the sensuously chunky chica enjoying a nice day at the beach. This blurred effect is quite nice and looks realistic in a cartoony way.
The bottom line, other than the bottom line of this beautiful beach babe, is that this pic is awesome! Thank you for posting it! You are quite talented!
My only question is, how the hell is she gonna get up?

Thank you very much for the wonderfully detailed complement. I love constructive comments like this. Especially one on such an old drawing.
And I used to have a bit of a story that went with this, about how the heavy women had a specialized transport system designed just for them, that helps them get to places around town that are large enough to handle them. But very few women are brave enough to go to the beach.

It has a back story to it, as well as some main characters in the foreground, so I think I can include a short tale to go with it.

No problem. I've come to a relatively recent epiphany where I don't wanna just be a parasite fave-ing stuff without commenting. So I always try to say a little something when I add a new one to faves. However, the old, pre-epiphianic (if that's even a word) ones ahve fallen by the wayside. However, if one pops up under random favorites that really catches my eye I'll go back and say something. And this lovely hit the jackpot.
I really like your artwork. You have an economical style that gets the point across in a concise and spare style that doesn't distract the viewer from the meat (or should we say fat) of the subject matter. Plus your use of colors and shading are very well done. Please keep up the great work and thank you for posting!
p.s. I'd like to see that story someday, if you ever have the time...
