I picked Totodile in HeartGold, never went with any other starter in that game since. XD

Haha, love how excited totodile is, and the kid is all just "Do I have to take this one?"

I love their expressions, really cute ^o^ and the coloring style looks interesting and makes it all the more special.Β
Personally I've always liked Chikorita and its' evolutions best among the gen 2 starters.Β

Sorry if I offended you. He is the only good 2nd gen starter in my opinion

My first PokΓ©mon was Chimchar, and I like him but not that much. However Infernape is really good in combat

Infernape is alright, though I always preferred Blazekein.

Same here! When I first started playing Gold and I wasn't able to choose my Charmender it was, like, a tragedy. Now Totodile is one of my favourite PokΓ©mon ever.Β
Btw, this is really awesome!

Yeah for sure!! I guess the nice thing about X/Y is you can pick the regional starter AND charmander... although Totodile will always have a special place in my heart!

For sure! I actually like Typhlosion better than Feralgatr, but I can't pick Cyndaquil because I can't stand seeing totodile abused by the rival trainer...

Very nicely done. I like the drawing style and the colours. The first time I played Gold/Silver was on a GBC emulator (Nintendo games weren't available in my country at that time) and the ROM wasn't fully translated from Japanese, so I couldn't finnish the game! Later on I got my hands on a fully English Crystal version and I loved it. I was so impressed with the new game mechanics (compared to Red/Blue), like the day/night cycles and that you could catch certain Pkmn only at certain times of the day. And the colours were amazing! Ah, the good old days.

Thank you! And yeah I agree-- silver was actually my first game but there's still nothing like good old video games to fuel the nostalgia

This is awesome; very nostalgic. The orange-ish tan, slightly brown colors really bring me back to the G/S days. Ferligatr was my first ever 100Β

Thank you! Yeah, I've been playing crystal off a gbc emulator so I snagged the colors from that.

Yeah, they really take me back! Crystal is probably my all-time favorite Pokemon game. I actually remember how excited I was when it first came out and I saw the commercials for it on TV. Those were the good old days. Nothing can compare - though that's just my nostalgia. Wish I could go back!
Also really like your use of white highlights. You have a really great style.

I agree! Silver was my first game, and to this day I think it's my favorite (althoooough X/Y are a close second) but nothing beats the nostalgia of great video games. Thank you for the comment!
