It took about two days. First day was just doing the base colors and letting those dry, and the next day was just doing the details for maybe... an hour or two?

Did you use a Nail Art Pen for Bumblebee's stripes?

Nope, I used painter's tape to get straight lines. I could never in my life draw a straight line like that with a nail art pen.

I did it! Totally look like crap! But I did it. The only one I had a real problem with was Optimus. I cannot draw flames. My Ratchet could be better but at least it's not as bad as Optimus.

Well, it takes practice! Practice and patience. ....Lots of it. lol. The flames were the most difficult thing to do. Took me at least 5 tries for each nail. =__= But the more you try, the better you do.

I will keep trying. I love the pattern. The first time my best friend and I did our nails, we didn't have the crackle and we didn't have the nail art brush for the details. But at another friends house the other day, she had a whole bunch of colors, silver and black crackle and thin brushes. They came out much better this go around.
