Description J'me suis pris la tΓͺte sur cette colo... j'en suis pas super fan mais bon, Γ§a reste un petit fanart de Mass Effect ^^

I'm still doing Mass Effect fanart. Even if I'm not really happy of what I did for EDI v_v.
I tried many many colouring but it is still not good for me. I cannot find a way to do it right :/ ...

It seems I'm not the first one to think "gee, that's really cute."Β  The line art one lets the detail (especially her eyes and smile) show through better; I'm glad you included it.Β

In the English version, EDI stands for Enhanced Defence Intelligence.

The Russian one seems to make more sense...interesting!Β  Thank you, g1npo!

(In my fic, the previous iteration that Shepard and team fight on Luna is called "Zone Defence Intelligence," so it would be an Enhancement of something by the time we get to ME2.)

Mass Effect: All in the Details, if you're interested.Β  It starts off as an expansion of the original story (character development for the NPCs, etc.) but slowly veers off into a different series of choices, and won't have a stupid Chernobylic ending.

Keep doing Mass Effect art!

It's EDI

What's the difficult part? Trying to get the metallic shine down? I imagine that would be tough.

I don't know. I had a lot of trouble at making a good colouring, finding the good colors, etc :/.
I discovered on internet that EDI is named EDI. Because I don't know really why but in the french version, her name is IDA ^^'

In the Russian version her name is "SUZI". I so like our localizers. so your IDA sounds still normally)))

Interpretation in Russian sounds as: System of Advanced Protective Intelligence. I know it does not seem to "SUZI", but Russian first letters sound that way))
Sorry for my english)

Haha no no don't worry, your english is very good and understandable !
It's funny for me to see the same game translated in russian ^^!
All the dialogues in the french version are dubbed in french, is the russian version dubbed too?

Of course! All dialogues are transferred to Russian, and a postscoring English. Therefore I had at once questions when I saw "SUZI", and heard "EDI" )

yeah but in the french version, I mean all the dialogues are said in french, with french actors ^^. I was curious to know if it was russian actors doing the voice too, but I have my answer lol

As you likely already understood that the Russian postscoring in mass effect isn't present) Likely so even better, the original postscoring is pleasant to me more. The first mass effect was completely sounded into Russian. Me nearly threw up when I heard it) Probably Bioware too were dissatisfied Therefore from the second part a postscoring original))

Oh yeah, I suppose everyone has all kinds of different names in other versions. IDA sounds pretty similar though.

Yeah IDA stands for "Intelligence DΓ©fensive AutomatisΓ©e", almost the same thing that what EDI stands for.
I discovered that a lot of name has been changed for France (like the Illusive Man that became "l'Homme Trouble" lol)
