Well, he was eight in that episode, meaning he, like the rest of his peers, would have gained some weight as they grew up. However, with Cartman's eating habits and lazy nature, he would have gained considerably more than a growing child should. Also, the whale I was referring to was the one in Kyle's speech bubble; I was essentially saying it was mean to compare the whale to Cartman, not vice-versa.
